Our commitment is to mobilize one million Survivors of childhood sexual abuse (CSA) as Liberation Arts Community Health Strategists across the Blxck Queer Diaspora. When one looks at rates of unwanted health outcomes, Blxck, LGBTQAIP2S+ and Disabled Survivors of childhood sexual abuse disproportionately experience pushout in work, home, and learning spaces along with mental health effects of trauma, enforced poverty, discrimination, abuse, exploitation and wage theft, job insecurity, homelessness, criminalization, and incarceration. We envision HOMEplxce™ as a peer-to-peer, train-the-trainers public health intervention. Reflecting on our self-healing journeys, we know entrepreneurship and homeownership to be promotive and protective health factors. We understand that self-esteem—or self-regard as Toni Morrison referred to it—is a significant determining factor for health—and dare we add—overall life outcomes that are structurally impacted. Co-making culture anew, we engage community capacity builders to sustain worlding that insists on our aliveness.
